A paradise for golfers

Pack your golf bag and head to the southwestern corner of Skåne for a few eventful days. A short distance from Höllviksnäs, there are several fine golf courses set in picturesque surroundings to visit. Some of the country’s most beautiful and renowned links courses can be found here by the sea.

Pay-and-play

If you lack the green fee to play on the major 18-hole courses, there are several good alternatives that still offer you a great golf experience. For example, you can book a session with an instructor at one of the neighboring golf clubs, use the practice areas at the clubs, or play a round on a so-called pay-and-play course. Some of the local golf clubs have well-maintained and pleasant pay-and-play courses that provide you with an excellent experience of the game in lovely surroundings.

Indoor Golf

If the weather lets you down, there are good alternatives to experience the sport indoors. Several golf clubs offer indoor play, and there are also options outside of the golf clubs.

Falsterbo GK:

Falsterbo GK is a classic links course at the very end of Falsterbo, where the Öresund meets the Baltic Sea, and it is said to be the only 18-hole links course in Sweden that maintains British tradition. The wind, water hazards, and plenty of bunkers make the course a real challenge.

Flommens GK:

Flommen gets its name from the small lagoons (flommar) located between the Skanör-Falsterbo settlement and the beaches on the Öresund side. It is a challenging links course beautifully situated with stunning views.

Ljunghusens GK:

A unique 27-hole course that some say is one of Sweden’s toughest – largely due to the rough, which mainly consists of heather. Only a few places in Europe resemble Ljunghusen – giving the game a unique character.

Vellinge GK:

Vellinge GK is located in an open, gently rolling landscape and offers most players a challenge – especially when the typical winds of Skåne make themselves felt.

Söderslätts GK:

A fantastic golf course set in scenic surroundings with a fine heathland character. It is a place where both beginners and experienced golfers thrive.

Tegelberga GK:

Tegelberga GK is reminiscent of a classic hilly Scottish heath course – albeit in a Skåne setting with interesting natural features. The rolling landscape offers a complete experience, and each hole has its own unique character.
